College basketball fans were already aware of four-star big man Caleb Ourigou’s commitment to John Calipari at Arkansas, but it was a question of when the enticing prospect would arrive on campus to play for the Razorbacks.
We now have our answer, and it’s a positive one for Arkansas fans. Ourigou has reclassified to 2026 and will be available for Calipari to deploy this fall.

The center profiles as a certified rim-protector, as the six-foot-ten big man averaged over two blocks per game in the EYBL circuit this past season.
UConn, Kentucky, BYU and several other schools were in the hunt for Ourigou before he committed to play for Arkansas.
Ourigou’s earlier-than-expected arrival will help fill the void left by Trevon Brazile, who soaked up frontcourt minutes for Calipari before leaving for the NBA this summer.
