The Clash is expected to have a new home in 2027. According to The Athletic’s Jordan Bianchi, the Clash is expected to return to Daytona International Speedway after a six-year hiatus. After a two-year run at Bowman Gray Stadium, NASCAR will go back to Daytona for its opening exhibition event.

According to Bianchi, the Clash at Daytona is expected to be held on Saturday, February 13, 2027, which is one day before the Super Bowl and a week before the Daytona 500. The NASCAR insider also says a new sponsor is expected to partner with the Clash next season.

NASCAR should run the Clash at Daytona, as there is no better fit for the opening weekend of the season. While Bowman Gray and Los Angeles put on good shows, Daytona is where the Clash belongs. The 2027 NASCAR season isn’t here yet, but excitement is already in the air about the possibility.
