The Southeastern Conference released its women’s basketball schedule on Tuesday, revealing the Florida Gators‘ SEC opener in the process.
Tammi Reiss’ squad will begin its journey to the SEC Tournament on New Year’s Eve against the Kentucky Wildcats inside the O’Connell Center. Tip-off times and television schedules for all the Gators’ 2026-27 regular season games will be announced at a later date.

Florida’s six other SEC home games are scheduled against LSU (Jan. 10), Auburn (Jan. 14), Tennessee (Jan. 18), Georgia (Jan. 28), Mississippi State (Feb. 11), Oklahoma (Feb. 14) and Vanderbilt (Feb. 28). The Commodores matchup marks the conclusion of the regular-season schedule.
The Gators will also face Arkansas (Jan. 3), Alabama (Jan. 7), South Carolina (Jan. 21), Ole Miss (Jan. 24), Missouri (Feb. 4), Texas A&M (Feb. 7), Texas (Feb. 21) and Georgia (Feb. 25) on the road.
The conference schedule consists of a single round-robin of home or away (14 games) with one rotating opponent that will be played at home and away (two games). Each team plays eight home games and eight away games, and the rotating opponent changes annually.
This marks the 18th season of the 16-game schedule for women’s basketball.
