LSU punter Grant Chadwick earned a spot on the 2026 Ray Guy Award Preseason Watchlist. The Augusta Sports Council, presenters of the award, announced the 21-punter list Friday, and they included a Tiger for the first time since 2023. Chadwick is trying to be the first LSU punter to win the award which was established in 2000.

The Ray Guy Award is one of four positional awards that’s eluded LSU players. The others are the Lou Groza Award for kickers, thanks to the 2018 Cole Tracy robbery, the John Mackey Award for tight ends, and the Doak Walker Award for running backs. The full watch list is below.
