The Arizona Cardinals have lost a little bit of their offensive line depth before the season even starts: Rookie offensive lineman Chase Bisontis has reportedly suffered a torn MCL and will need surgery to repair the injury, per Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Bisontis suffered the injury in the Cardinals’ preseason game against the Raiders on Thursday, going down after an awkward collision. Bisontis had to be carted off the field and taken to the locker room.

Bisontis will reportedly undergo surgery next week, and is expected to miss significant time — possibly the whole season. However, the MCL is reportedly the only thing that needs to be repaired, meaning that Bisontis’ ACL and meniscus are still intact; he is expected to make a full recovery.
