Once this game concludes, every team will have one more game to evaluate their rosters, and then all attention will turn to preparing for Week 1 of the regular season.

Neither Seattle nor Tennessee has high-profile training-camp battles we are watching. This game gets some extra intrigue since the Seahawks are this year’s “Hard Knocks” team, and a behind-the-scenes look at the game will likely be included in Tuesday’s episode.

Notables playing: QB Cam Ward, RB Tony Pollard, WR Carnell Tate

Notables confirmed out: QB Sam Darnold, RB Jadarian Price, WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, CB Devon Witherspoon, DE Leonard Williams, DE DeMarcus Lawrence, LB Ernest Jones

This will be a game of two different approaches to the preseason. Tennessee is expected to continue ramping up its starters’ progressions, with estimates that the starters could play the entire first half. Head coach Robert Saleh said, “We’re all playing.”

Seattle, on the other hand, is resting its main starters on both sides of the ball. That means that instead of watching Sam Darnold under center, fans are now expected to see Drew Lock and Jalen Milroe as Seattle’s quarterbacks. The Seahawks will also be without their starting running back, wide receiver, and top four defenders.
