Burrows began his night by retiring the first two batters in the last of the first, but a two-out infield single brought up Joey Meneseswho hit a two-run home run to left field to give Las Vegas an early 2-0 lead.

Burrows bounced back to face the minimum in the second inning before striking out the side in the third and throwing a scoreless fourth to record three straight innings without allowing a run.

In the 5th, he surrendered a leadoff home run to Johnathan Rodriguez before retiring Meneses on a fly ball to center. Burrows was then lifted from the game after 4.1 IP.

Burrows threw 77 pitches, 52 for strikes. He induced 4 groundball outs and 2 flyouts.
