Delaney (6-foot-5, 275 pounds) plays for Providence Day School in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he ranks as the No. 5 interior offensive lineman, the No. 5 player in the state and the No. 62 overall recruit in the 2026 class (247Sports).
Splitting time between both the offensive and defensive lines, he helped lead the Chargers to a state championship as a Max Preps Sophomore All-American. Delaney, who also holds a black belt in Jeet Kune Do, started at right tackle as a junior but unfortunately missed the latter part of the season due to injury.
Delaney holds over 30 offers entering his senior year and he has entertained some of the top college football programs in the country like Tennessee, Penn State, Michigan and Clemson.

Tennessee and Clemson have hosted Delaney the most over the last year with multiple visits between the SEC and ACC powers. Head coach Dabo Swinney’s Tigers previously received two unofficial visits from Delaney over the spring before hosting him on an official visit last weekend.

And following that trip, Clemson is projected to land a commitment. On3’s Steve Wiltfong and Chad Simmons currently project Delaney to land with the Tigers over Tennessee, Michigan and Penn State.
Clemson has made an early splash in the 2026 cycle by 15 commitments, a group that ranks No. 5 nationally.
However, the Nittany Lions are scheduled for an official visit this weekend before Delaney makes an official trip to the Wolverines on June 20. Those visits are expected to play a key role in his decision as Delaney mulls over his options.
