Alabama rises in latest USA TODAY Sports’ Women’s Basketball Coaches Poll

Released on Tuesday afternoon, the Alabama Crimson Tide were back on the move in the latest USA TODAY Sports’ Women’s Basketball Coaches Poll, rising one spot up from No. 20 to No. 19 nationally.

This rise coincides with the latest AP Poll on Monday which saw Alabama rise there as well, jumping three spots up from No. 21 to No. 18.

Sitting at 21-5 overall on the season, Alabama also improved to 8-4 in SEC play on Monday night with an impressive 88-49 home win over Texas A&M. Alabama’s next game will come Thursday night in Knoxville for a Top 25 matchup with Tennessee, who were ranked No. 13 in the latest USA TODAY Sports’ Women’s Basketball Coaches Poll.
