Alabama rises in latest women’s basketball AP Poll Top 25 despite not playing

After not playing across the past week since the previous update, the Alabama Crimson Tide women’s basketball team’s ranking has been revealed in the latest update of the AP Poll Top 25 on Monday afternoon.

Despite not playing, Alabama jumped three total spots in Monday’s update, rising up to No. 18 from their prior spot of No. 21. For the season, Alabama owns an overall record of 20-5 overall, and are currently fifth in the SEC standings sitting four games behind the Texas Longhorns for first.

Alabama’s next game comes later tonight, Feb. 17, at home against the Texas A&M Aggies, with tipoff set for 8 p.m. ET on SEC Network.

The Crimson Tide will also travel to No. 15 Tennessee on Thursday, Feb. 20, as well as host Auburn on Sunday, Feb. 23.
