A trio of Alabama women’s basketball standouts will represent the Crimson Tide at the NCAA Tournament Final Four.
Aaliyah Nye, the 3-point ace for the Crimson Tide, has ben selected to be in the Slam Dunk & 3-point Championship on Thursday. The event will be held at 6 p.m. CT at the men’s Final Four in San Antonio, Texas. It will be televised on ESPN.

Nye shot 45.5% from behind the arc during the 2024-25 season, and reset her own school record with 111 made 3-pointers, surpassing the 108 she made during the 2023-24 season.
Sarah Ashlee Barker will be a part of the ‘So You Want To Be A Coach’ program in Tampa, Florida. It’s the 22nd edition. Former Crimson Tide standout Hannah Barber participated in 2023 and is now an assistant with Valdosta State women’s basketball. The event is held on Thursday and Friday by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association.
Zaay Green will play in the Lilly Women’s College All-Star game in Tampa. She is one of 20 players selected for the game. The rosters have not been set but the teams will be coached by either Nancy Lieberman or Cheryl Miller, two Hall of Fame players. The game takes place at 2 p.m. CT Saturday on ESPN2.

The Crimson Tide is coming off another successful season but one that ended with a bitter taste after a double-overtime loss in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. It is the second straight second-round appearance for Alabama, which hit the 20-win mark for the fourth straight season and had its least amount of losses since 1996-97.
