Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese has become one of the most popular names in the sports world.
She’s about to begin her second WNBA season in 2025 and she’s now being joined by her former LSU teammate, Hailey Van Lith, following her selection at No. 11 overall in the 2025 WNBA draft.

Reese put together a strong 2024 rookie season, and she is looking to build off of that campaign and help lead Chicago back to the playoffs in 2025.
Last season, Reese played in 34 games, averaging 13.6 points, 13.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.3 steals per game, while shooting 39.1% from the floor and 73.6% from the free -throw line.
She also led the WNBA in rebounding. The next-closest player was A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces, who averaged 11.9 rebounds per game.
On May 2, the Sky will take on the Brazilian national team in their preseason opener. They will then open the regular season on May 17 against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever.

There are many haters who don’t want to see Reese succeed, but she appears to be doing just fine at proving all of the doubters wrong.
