The Chicago Sky are now riding a two-game winning streak with back-to-back victories over the Dallas Wings.

After defeating the Wings 97-92 several days ago to earn their first win of the season, they picked up another victory on Saturday, taking down Dallas 94-83.

Angel Reese has been a huge factor to the Sky’s success, finding success as a scorer and rebounder, but another star on Chicago’s roster was the key contributor in their latest win.

After the most recent matchup against Dallas, Chicago named Ariel Atkins as the Player of the Game.

Atkins finished the matchup against the Wings with 26 points, four rebounds and four steals, as stated in the Chicago Sky’s official Instagram post linked below.

Reese, who’s been a starter for the Sky all season, reacted to the post, showing support to her Sky teammate and sharing the news with over 4.9 million fans.

Ariel Atkins has been playing lights out for the Chicago Sky all season. During her first year with the Sky, Atkins has posted 15.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game, serving as one of the most lethal scorers on Chicago’s roster.

Atkins has also put on a show on the defensive end, averaging 1.5 steals per game.

Before playing with Angel Reese and the Sky, Atkins played seven seasons with the Washington Mystics.

Throughout her second season in the WNBA, Angel Reese has also posted incredible numbers, averaging a double-double.

Reese has posted 10.0 points, 12.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game for the Chicago Sky.
