The Indiana Fever have formed a star-studded group, entering the WNBA season as title contenders behind Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell, Aliyah Boston and company.

A few other contenders include the Las Vegas Aces and the Minnesota Lynx.

Before players around the league hit the court, chasing a WNBA title ring, Indiana’s Lexie Hull received a ring of her own.

Hull recently shared that she’s engaged to Will Matthiessen, a retired baseball player who was once involved with the Pittsburgh Pirates organization.

“Engaged to my best friend 💛 cheers to forever!” said Hull.

Upon the release of the news, Chicago Sky star Angel Reese shared her thoughts.

“GO BIG LEXIEEEEEE SO HAPPY FOR YOU,” said Reese.

While the Sky and Fever were viewed as rivals last season, Hull and Reese shared a connection during the WNBA offseason. Indiana held a 3-1 series lead over Chicago last season.

The two shared the floor together for the Rose Basketball Club in the inaugural season of the Unrivaled League.

While Reese expressed that she was happy for Hull after announcing her engagement, a couple of other notable names around the WNBA circle also sent a message to Hull.

“YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYY SO HAPPY,” commented Caitlin Clark.

“Congrats!!!” said Kate Martin.

Hull will now enter her fourth season in the WNBA, having posted a career-high 5.5 points per game last year, along with 2.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.
