Mount Prospect’s (Ill.) Annie Stauder Commits to Butler

Annie Stauder of Mount Prospect (Ill.) has verbally committed to continue her academic and swimming career at Butler University as a member of the college class of 2030. Stauder, who specializes in the backstroke, butterfly and freestyle, currently attends St. Viator High School and trains year-round with FMC Aquatic. At Butler, she will join the Bulldogs’ program and bring versatility across multiple events.

At the Illinois Senior Championships in March of this year, Stauder posted a season-best time of 1:00.62 in the 100-yard backstroke. She also turned in strong performances at the FMC Speedo Grand Challenge in November of 2025, recording a 57.25 in the 100-yard freestyle and a 59.75 in the 100-yard butterfly.
