Are the Lady Vols ranked ahead of Selection Sunday?

The Lady Vols last played on March 5 in the SEC Tournament second round. Alabama defeated Tennessee, 76-64, at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina.

Tennessee (16-13) awaits its NCAA Tournament destination and opponent. Selection Sunday is scheduled for March 15 at 8 p.m. EDT and will be televised by ESPN.

Tennessee recorded wins against East Tennessee State, UT Martin, Belmont, Middle Tennessee State, Coppin State, Stanford, Winthrop, Southern Indiana, Florida, Auburn, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Alabama, Kentucky, Georgia and Missouri, while losing to North Carolina State, UCLA, Louisville, Mississippi State, UConn, South Carolina, Texas, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, LSU and Vanderbilt during the regular season.

On Tuesday ahead of Selection Sunday, the latest USA TODAY Sports women’s basketball coaches poll was released. The Lady Vols are unranked and not receiving votes.
