Cal’s Teagan O’Dell celebrated her birthday with a pair of victories. Her time of 1:51.83 in the 200 back beat the field by nearly four seconds and moved her into the eighth-fastest time in Golden Bears history. She bested Lucy Bell and Bricker in the 200 individual medley in 1:55.19.

O’Dell also split 1:43.30 off the 800 free relay as the Bears went 6:55.18 to win. Mia West, Claire Weinstein and Ella Cosgrove joined her on that team, holding off a Stanford squad that started with Huske’s 1:43.00 flat start.

Weinstein doubled up on wins in freestyle by claiming the 500 free in 4:39.23, augmenting her 200 free title from Friday. Teammate Camille Henveaux was second with Cosgrove third. West, the 100 free co-champ with Johnson, was second to Huske in the 100 fly.

Arizona State’s sprinters and transfers shined. The Sun Devils started the day by sweeping the top three in the 50 free. Adam Chaney led the way in 18.98, followed by Remi Fabiani’s 19.05 and Tolo Young’s 19.15. (Fifth, in an unscoring exhibition, was usual sprint leader Jonny Kulow.)
