Randy Bennett’s Arizona State basketball roster is up to 11 players, the most recent addition being 6-foot-10 Australian Ajak Nyuon, who committed on May 6.
Nyuon, who turns 19 on May 13, played for Team Australia in the 2025 FIBA U19 World Cup, averaging 2.3 points and 1.7 rebounds per game in seven appearances as one of the youngest players on the team.

In six games for the NBL1’s Centre of Excellence this year, he averaged 11.5 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, shooting 45.7% from the field. He also reportedly has a 70-inch wingspan.
Bennett had been recruiting Nyuon when he was still the coach at Saint Mary’s, a program he headed for 25 years before coming to Tempe. There are other ties too. Among those on Bennett’s coaching staff is David Patrick, a native of Australia with ties in international basketball there.
Nyuon is the second high school prospect added to the mix, the first being JRob Croy, son of assistant coach Rick Croy.
The Sun Devils have two returning players in guard Bryce Ford and forward Vijay Wallace and have seven incoming players via the transfer portal. ASU’s transfer portal class ranks 10th overall by 247Sports, and first in the Big 12.

Schools are allowed as many as 15 scholarship players. ASU still needs a guard.
Bennett is scheduled to meet with the media for the first time since his appointment at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 7, at Weatherup Center.
