Arizona women’s basketball renewed its annual kids’ day game last season and volleyball held the second one in that program’s history. Both programs will continue the tradition this year.
Volleyball announced its third annual Field Trip Day on Friday. The game will be held on Friday, Oct. 30 when Houston comes to town. The match is scheduled to begin at noon the day before Halloween. Schools are encouraged to sign up online.
The Wildcats have released their full volleyball schedule for the 2026 season. Preparations begin on Saturday, Aug. 15 with the Red-Blue Scrimmage at noon in McKale Center. The following week, they will hold an exhibition against GCU in McKale on Wednesday, Aug. 19 at 5 p.m. MST, then travel to New Mexico for a road exhibition against the Lobos at noon on Saturday, Aug. 22.

Women’s basketball has only released the matrix for its conference schedule so far. In addition, its opening game against Stanford in Las Vegas has been announced. The Field Trip Day game is the second nonconference game to be made public.
The Wildcats will host SEMO for the women’s basketball Field Trip Day. That game will tip off at 11 a.m. MST on Wednesday, Dec. 9 in McKale Center.
Arizona women’s basketball held an annual kids’ game until the pandemic. It did not restart until the first season under new head coach Becky Burke.
The full women’s basketball schedule should be released soon. The men’s nonconference schedule was announced earlier this week.
