Arkansas basketball announces time change for next home game vs Alabama

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas basketball‘s home game against No. 2 Alabama on Saturday is being moved back 30 minutes due to programming changes by ESPN, the school announced Wednesday.

Tipoff between the Razorbacks (13-8, 2-6 SEC) and Crimson Tide (19-3, 8-1) are now scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.

Earlier in the day, ESPN also announced that it was adding an NBA game to its Saturday afternoon schedule, planning to show Luka Doncic’s debut with the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers and Pacers will tipoff at 3 p.m. CT, forcing Duke and Clemson to start at 5:30 p.m. CT. That game will lead into the Hogs’ game against Alabama on ESPN.

Before then, Arkansas plays Texas Wednesday night. The Hogs are coming off an 89-79 win over Kentucky in John Calipari’s return to Rupp Arena.

Alabama has won five straight games and has the week off before traveling to Fayetteville. The Crimson Tide beat Georgia, 90-69, in its last contest.
