Auburn football will conclude its spring practice session in March with its annual spring game at Jordan-Hare Stadium in April.
Auburn’s spring game, known as “A-Day” will occur on Saturday, April 12, with time and network broadcast to be determined. April 12 will be a busy day for the SEC, as seven other programs from the conference including Alabama, Georgia, and LSU, will also hold their spring games that day.
Auburn fans will get a small taste of how much the program has progressed as year three of the Hugh Freeze era is on the horizon. The headlining move of the offseason is the low turnover rate within the coaching staff. Both coordinators, DJ Durkin and Derrick Nix return to their respective roles, while two former assistants return to the Plains. Roc Bellantoni and Chad Lunsford return to Auburn from FAU to fill roles left behind by outgoing coaches Josh Aldridge and Tanner Burns. Bellantoni takes over as outside linebackers coach while Lunsford joins the staff as the special teams coordinator.
Auburn fans will also get a first look at the Tigers’ No. 8-ranked recruiting class, featuring several notable additions including wide receiver Eric Singleton, cornerback Raion Strader, and quarterback Jackson Arnold. Auburn will also have 21 of its 26 high school signees for spring practice including five-star defensive tackle Malik Autry, four-star quarterback Deuce Knight, and four-star EDGE Jared Smith.
The annual “A-Day” game will take place on Saturday, April 12, at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
