Betting Scandal? UFC 324 Loses Bout Last Second

A lightweight fight between Michael Johnson and Alexander Hernandez has been removed from tonight’s (Sat., Jan. 24, 2026) UFC 324 card LIVE on Paramount+ from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The promotion announced the news Saturday afternoon, but did not name a specific reason as to why the 155-pound matchup was canceled, leaving fight fans to draw their own conclusions.

On Friday, a few members of the MMA betting community noticed some irregular betting activity for Johnson vs. Hernandez. There was some late money that came in on “Menace” that turned the fight into an even odds affair. This was a complete turnaround from the opening odds in late December, which had Johnson pegged as a sizeable underdog. Something didn’t look right, but there wasn’t any clear-cut evidence of any wrongdoing.
