Florida football earned an On3 recruiting prediction machine prediction on Saturday evening for four-star wide receiver and Sunshine State standout Somourian Wingo in the 2026 cycle.
The 6-foot-2-inch, 180-pound pass-catcher out of St. Augustine (Florida) has received 33 total offers heading into his junior year, including the Miami Hurricanes, Alabama Crimson Tide and South Carolina Gamecocks — all three of which 247Sports has listed as “warm” interest in the student-athlete. However, the battle appears to come down to the Gators and ‘Canes duking it out for their backyard talent.

According to On3’s Corey Bender, optimism is high among Florida’s staff as he made an official visit to campus this past weekend following a stop in Coral Gables the weekend prior. Wingo has an intimate familiarity with UF, having also made multitudinous marches to the interior of the state to meet up with Billy Napier and his staff last year, establishing a strong relationship with wide receivers coach Billy Gonzales in the process.
Based on those vibes relayed by multiple unnamed sources, as well as Wingo’s history with the program thus far, Bender decided to submit his RPM pick. However, no date for Wingo’s official announcement has been made as of yet.
Somourian Wingo Recruiting Summary
Wingo is ranked No. 155 overall and No. 22 at his position nationally according to the 247Sports composite while the On3 industry ranking has him at Nos. 168 and 25, respectively. On3’s recruiting prediction machine gives the Gators an 85.1% chance of landing him, followed by the Miami Hurricanes (7.8%) and South Carolina Gamecocks (3.8%).
