by

The Slovakian compound archers Jozef Bosansky and Petra Kocutova have broken the 50+ mixed team qualification world record, shooting 1353 at the European Outdoor Championships 2026 in Antalya, Türkiye.

The mark, which has been officially ratified, breaks the record of 1342 set at the Pilsen 2023 World Archery Para Championships by Koreans Choi Na Mi and Jang Ho Sik

Bozansky, who turned 50 just a week previously, won the compound men’s title at the Krakow-Malopolska 2023 European Games, while Kocutova has multiple results at 50+ level including winning Nimes in 2023.

Bozansky also broke two further world records in the category last week just two days after his 50th birthday, setting a new mark for the 50m round with 710, along with another record for the double WA 720 50m round with 1416.

Both of these records, also now ratified, were shot at the Dvojitý Reflex Challenge II competition in Slovakia.
