Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum hopes to bring a WNBA team to St. Louis

by

Don’t be too upset if star Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum has eyes for starting a WNBA team somewhere besides the city where he plays as a pro. The St. Louis native actually has big dreams of bringing a WNBA squad to his hometown in Missouri instead, which is a perfectly reasonable position for Tatum to take.

And the Boston champion is not just hoping to offer up some emotional support coupled with a celebrity endorsement, either. He recently went on the record to say he would be down to put his money where his mouth is if that is what it would take to get the WNBA to St. Louis.

The folks behind the “NBC Sports” YouTube channel put together a clip of the interview Tatum talked about that dream. Check it out below!
