Griner bid farewell to the Phoenix Mercury after a memorable 11 seasons, which produced two Defensive Player of the Year trophies, six All-WNBA nods, two scoring titles and a WNBA championship, to name a few of her accolades.

Despite her move to the Dream, however, Griner remains a big draw. A testament to this fact is how the 34-year-old continues to be a sought-after personality beyond the basketball court.

On Friday, Griner took to social media to tease her fans with an exciting update.

“Podcast appearance coming soon….. 👀 🎩 💨” she posted on Threads.

Griner did not provide more details about her upcoming guesting, which means that supporters will need to tune in for her next announcement. By then, the 6-foot-9 center will likely be able to reveal which podcast she’s appearing on and perhaps when the episode will be released.

As for her basketball, Griner has made 16 appearances for Atlanta in her first season with her new team. The former No. 1 overall pick has produced averages of 9.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 23.5 minutes per contest — all of which are career-low numbers for her.

Be that as it may, Griner has been a significant contributor as a starter for the Dream, who are currently sitting at the fourth spot in the WNBA with an 11-7 record.
