Filling out the main card is an impromptu bantamweight bout between Bryce Mitchell and Santiago Luna. Mitchell, who was initially slated to face Victor Henry, will now face Luna on short notice.
Luna is one of the hotter prospects on the UFC scene for solid reason. Still, I believe that this is way too much too soon (as I firmly believe matchups like this are potentially volatile for career growth, given that Luna could arguably be worse off with a win, considering the wolves he’ll be thrown to should beat a name like Mitchell).

Although Luna may have the wrestling to shut down Mitchell’s first layer of offensive grappling early, the Mexican has shown a tendency to slow down and get complacent in the very few fights where he has to fight for more than seven or so minutes.
Add in the fact that Mitchell officially stands at 3-0 inside the Meta APEX, and I suspect that Mitchell can survive some early scares en route to getting his game going down the stretch.
