Caitlin Clark had another historic and memorable day, despite the Indiana Fever’s loss to the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday.
After recording a triple-double in her season-opener against the Chicago Sky, Clark maintained her dominant form against the Dream. The Fever playmaker finished with 27 points, five rebounds, 11 assists and two steals, all while making five of her 11 attempts from deep.

Indiana ended up losing 91-90 to the Dream, but Clark set at least four records, including becoming the first player in WNBA history to have multiple games with at least 25 points, 10 assists, five rebounds and five 3-pointers made.
Making the day extra memorable, Clark shared a moment with professional golfer Bubba Watson before the game.

Not only did Watson gift the 23-year-old guard a pink driver, but he also had an awesome fanboy moment that fans took notice of.
During his moment with Clark, Watson shared a hug with the WNBA All-Star and had a conversation with her—at one point even revealing that his wife previously played in the WNBA for the now-defunct Charlotte Sting.

Later on, after meeting Clark, Watson was heard saying it was a “dream come true, not for her, but for me.”
Fans absolutely loved the exchange and took it to the comments section of the post to express their delight.
“This is the cutest thing ever omg,” a commenter wrote. Another one said, “This is so cute. Love a man fan girling.”
“Love this!! He’s such a humble guy- I’ve always pulled for him!” a fan added.
A supporter shared, “I [love] me some Bubba! Such a humble man!”
“Fun!!! Go Bubba! Good people respecting each other,” a follower remarked.
A sixth social media user further stated, “I mean this is what this moment is all about – a great golfer saying it is more about him meeting her then her meeting him. Women’s sports aren’t having a moment they are having their deserved moment.”

Considering how big a Clark supporter Watson is, it’s safe to say fans will see more of him at Fever games this 2025 season.
