The Bulls reportedly received offers of as many as two first-round picks for Alex Caruso before the 2024 trade deadline, sources confirmed to Jamal Collier of ESPN.
Despite these offers, the Bulls chose a different path, ultimately deciding to trade Caruso to the Oklahoma City Thunder over the summer in a one-for-one deal, exchanging him for fourth-year point guard Josh Giddey.
This move sparked some external criticism, as some fans and analysts questioned the decision to pass up on future draft capital in favor of a single player.
