I think it’s also worth noting for pure purposes of objectivity and awareness that I have been a lifelong Kentucky fan whose rival was always Louisville. I was also born and raised in Louisville as said Kentucky fan, so I was surrounded by it. As well, in the finale of this season Louisville absolutely dog walked Kentucky, got their coach fired, and I have to listen to their fans for the next year or so. I say all that to say, take my pick with appropriate levels of skepticism or cynicism.
