Caitlin Clark is the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer after spending four years in Iowa City with the Hawkeyes.

Her impact went beyond scoring as she became the first Division-I player to record 3,800-plus points, 1,000-plus assists and 950-plus rebounds for her career.
She also left campus as an Iowa and NCAA basketball legend with an impact extending throughout the Iowa community and beyond.
On Tuesday, the Iowa women’s basketball program made an announcement on Clark showing her commitment to the team even since moving on to the WNBA’s Indiana Fever.

“Our girl @CaitlinClark has us ready for the season,” the Iowa Women’s Basketball page wrote with a fire emoji.

The team received shoes from Clark and Nike basketball that had Hawkeyes players smiling from ear-to-ear.
“(Want) to see their reaction with video,” one person said with a red heart emoji.
“Can you post the video if you have,” a second person asked, sans question mark.
“She is (a) sweetheart,” another person added.
“This is adorable!” another said.
Others piled on the .GIFs on social media.
Iowa’s women’s team finished 23-11 last season, 10-8 in the Big Ten under coach Jan Jensen, who took over for Lisa Bluder in May 2024 after Bluder’s retirement.
