Joining her in the big game are Fever teammates Aliyah Boston, who was named as one of 10 All-Star starters, and Kelsey Mitchell, who was voted as a reserve by coaches from across the league.
Part of Clark’s responsibilities as All-Star Captain is to draft her team. On Monday, the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year said that she would do everything in her power to ensure that she gets both Boston and Mitchell on her squad.
“I think there’s a high chance Kels and AB are on my team,” Clark said, via Chloe Peterson of IndyStar. “I’m gonna do everything I can. I might trade the rest of my team for those two, but no, I’m excited.
“I think it’ll be fun. And that’s what the All-Star Game is really about, just giving the fans something to cheer about.”

The results of the WNBA All-Star Game draft were released on Tuesday, and it proved that Clark is a woman of her word. While she did not trade her entire team for Boston and Mitchell, she ensured that both were drafted to Team Clark.
Boston was Clark’s first pick, while Mitchell was her first choice once it was time to select from the reserves pool. Clearly, Clark wasn’t messing around, and she used her first opportunity to get her Fever teammates on her squad, thereby fulfilling her promise.
Sabrina Ionescu, A’ja Wilson and Satou Sabally will be the other three starters on Team Clark alongside Boston and Clark. The Fever superstar also picked Gabby Williams, Sonia Citron, Kiki Iriafen, Jackie Young and Kayla Thornton on her squad.
