After a WNBA record-setting performance on July 17, Iowa women’s basketball legend and current Indiana Fever star point guard Caitlin Clark has been named Associated Press Player of the Week.
Despite still navigating a minute restrictions, Clark averaged 25 points on 43.5% shooting, along with 7.7 assists and 2.3 rebounds per game across the three contests the Fever played from July 13-19.

Indiana’s 110-107 win over the Seattle Storm on July 17 served as the centerpiece of Clark’s spectacular week. Clark became the first player in both WNBA and NBA history to record 45 points and 10 assists in under 30 minutes played, set a franchise single-game scoring record, and established a new career-high in points scored.
The Fever (16-10) have just one more game before Clark, Aliyah Boston, and Kelsey Mitchell each travel to Chicago for the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game. The 6-foot guard will look to guide Indiana’s offense to a third win in a row and their eighth victory in its last 11 contests as the Fever meet the Connecticut Sun (7-19).

Wednesday’s game between the Fever and Sun at Gainbridge Fieldhouse will tip off at 7 p.m. CT and will air on USA Network.
