From allegations of an alleged affair between Sophie Cunningham and Phoenix Suns and Mercury CEO Josh Bartelstein, Caitlin Clark’s quad and groin injuries, and the DeWanna Bonner drama amid her untimely exit, the Fever have been in the headlines for the wrong reasons on multiple occasions.
But on Tuesday night, the team was all over social media for a good reason after dispatching of the WNBA-leading Minnesota Lynx 74-59 to win the first-ever Commissioner’s Cup in franchise history.
Multiple photos and videos made their way to social media showing the aftermath of Indiana’s postgame celebrations, but one in particular caught the attention of fans.

The WNBA shared a video of one of the Fever’s postgame celebrations, and fans took notice of Clark using the Commissioner’s Cup trophy as a way to help her teammate’s drink some celebratory champagne.

“Who’s next? Guys, is K.K. 21?” Clark asked of rookie teammate Makayla Timpson, who turns 23 in September.
Clark’s antics drew some animated reactions from fans on social media.
“CC always dishing out the assists,” one fan wrote.
“CC is so freaking funny!! Is KK 21?” another fan added.
“CC stays assisting,” a third fan replied.
“CC ENJOY THAT,” one user exclaimed.
“@IndianaFever @StephanieWhite — your team are a bunch of crack ups! 😂🤣 Too funny… lovin’ them!” another user quipped.
“Why she gotta clown KK like that tho? 😂😂 she knew damn well she was over 21,” one fan commented.
