Cunningham, who made the move from the Phoenix Mercury, has been vocal on her joyful attitude after joining Clark and the Fever.
After a game against the Atlanta Dream on Saturday, Cunningham sent a message to her former teammate, Brittney Griner, as both players enter new stages in their WNBA careers.
“Former Mercury teammates Sophie Cunningham and Brittney Griner chatting it up just like old times,” posted Ball Don’t Lie.
Cunningham then shared a response for Griner.
“I miss this dingus but we are both very happy now!!” Cunningham said.
Brittney Griner finished the game after playing just two minutes. The Atlanta Dream chose to rest their star, giving the WNBA star a rest period before the season begins.
