The Calgary Flames have recalled defenseman Tyson Barrie and forward Adam Klapka from the Calgary Wranglers, it was reported Tuesday.
Barrie, who is in his first year with the Flames, has seen time in the AHL and NHL this season. In nine games with the Flames, he’s collected two points while putting up three points in two games for the Wranglers.
Drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in the third round of the 2009 NHL Draft, Barrie has played in 818 career NHL regular season games, accumulating 110 goals and 507 points.
Klapka, a product of Praha, Czechia, has also seen time at both levels this season, going pointless in six games with the Flames and collecting 25 points in 29 games with the Wranglers.
Since joining the Flames organization in 2022, Klapka has appeared in 12 NHL regular season games, logging a goal.
Both players will have the chance to draw into the Flames lineup Tuesday as they host the Washington Capitals.
