Early National Signing Day is 48 hours away. Few elite recruits remain left on the board, but schools are making final pushes to flip the top players in the nation.
It’s no different at LSU, where the Tigers are hoping to add five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas to the class. Thomas is committed to Florida State, but LSU and Florida are in the race.
Per reports, this one is still up in the air.
Thomas has made multiple visits to LSU in the last year and Tigers’ offensive line coach Brad Davis is a strong recruiter.
LSU’s 2025 recruiting class has taken some hits in recent weeks. Blue-chip offensive lineman Devin Harper flipped to Ole Miss, giving the Tigers a need on the offensive line.
Adding Thomas would be a nice way of filling that void.
According to On3, Thomas is the No. 2 interior offensive lineman in the class and the No. 4 overall player in Florida.
The recruiting cycle is winding down with most top recruits expected to sign on Wednesday. LSU should have an answer on this in the next 24-48 hours.
LSU’s 2025 class ranks No. 6 nationally, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. Thomas gives LSU a chance to finish in the top five.
