MADISON – The theme of the Wisconsin football staff this recruiting cycle has been the best players in Wisconsin stay in Wisconsin.
So far the Badgers have done a good job of protecting the state’s borders.

UW netted its fourth commitment for the 2027 class Thursday March 5 when Catholic Memorial edge rusher Isaac Miller announced his commitment to UW on X.
Miller is the fourth member of the Badgers’ 2027 class. All are in-state prospects. He joins Verona tackle Ethan McIntosh, Iola-Scandinavia tight end Korz Loken and Catholic Memorial safety Dustin Roach as Badger commits.
Each of those players is a top 10 player in the state, according to Rivals. Two of those players, Green Bay Notre Dame defensive lineman Richie Flanigan (Notre Dame) and Pewaukee Cade Reikowski (Northwestern) have committed elsewhere. Wisconsin is still in contention for the rest of the uncommitted members of the top 10.

Miller is considered a three-star prospect by Rivals and 247sports. He stands 6-foot-5 and weighs 250 pounds and has more than two dozen Power Four offers. According to his X account, the most recent offers came from SMU, Missouri, Michigan State, Boston College, Vanderbilt and Nebraska.
He announced his scholarship offer from Wisconsin on April. 3.
Miller helped Catholic Memorial finished 11-2 this past season. He finished with 61 tackles, 23 solos, with 23 quarterback pressures that led to four interceptions. He also made six tackles for a loss and three sacks.
