Championship scoring concluded on Saturday at The Vegas Shoot. This year 29 men made the maximum 900 score in the championship compound open division, and will shootdown for the prize of $50,000 on Sunday evening.

As usual, they will be joined on Sunday by a ‘Lucky Dog’, the archer who won the shootdown between all the archers in the divison who scored 899 across the three days. This year, the ‘Lucky Dog’ is the 2022 Asian Games champion Ojas Pravin Deotale, who placed 4th at the Vegas Shoot last year.

Archers who scored 900 and made the final shootdown include Mathias Fullerton, Mike Schloesser, Jimmy Lutz, Nicolas Girard, Kris Schaff, and Nico Wiener.

The three days of scoring also set up the final placings for the Indoor Archery World Series Finals, which will begin matchplay on Sunday morning.

The USA’s Gracen Fletcher won the championship compound female category outright by being the only woman to shoot 900 across the three days. She is the ninth woman in the history of the Vegas Shoot to achieve the mark.
