Chase Briscoe has landed a ride in the NASCAR Truck Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway. Briscoe will drive the No. 5 truck for TRICON Garage in the Truck Series event at Bristol. It will be the Joe Gibbs Racing driver’s first Truck Series start with TRICON Garage in his NASCAR career.
Entering Bristol on Friday, Briscoe’s last Truck Series start came at the Bristol Dirt race in 2023, finishing in seventh. Therefore, the driver of the No. 5 truck’s last pavement start in the NASCAR level came at Kansas Speedway during the 2021 Truck Series season for a 19th-place finish.

This will be an amazing opportunity for Briscoe, who hopes to find some momentum in Friday’s Truck Series event. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver currently sits 21st in the point standings with a 36-point deficit to the Chase bubble. Briscoe needs some better finishes, and hopefully, Bristol will treat him better this weekend.
