Clark is also dealing with her first injury of her young career, which will keep her sidelined as the Fever are set to take on Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky on Saturday.
“I’ll miss this weekend’s game, but after that, it’s day-by-day,” Clark said.
This will be the fourth game the Fever superstar will miss since suffering a left quad injury.
The generational WNBA talent revealed that it’s a “possibility” she will be able to suit up on June 10 after missing the contest against the Sky.
Indiana’s first report was that Clark was expected to miss two weeks, which lines up with a return next week.

Teams prepare for Clark’s arrival by playing in a large venue. The Fever’s game against the Sky is in the United Center in Chicago, which is nearly double the size of their typical arena they play in.
The stands would have been packed had Clark and Reese been able to go head to head. Instead, ticket prices have been plummeting with the Clark being ruled out.

Legion Hoops shared on X that prices had fallen to as little as $7, which makes sense when considering how many seats are in the arena and Clark’s injury.
This weekend’s Sky-Fever game is now down to $7 on [TickPick] and is likely to keep going down even more,” Legion Hoops posted. “The WNBA misses Caitlin Clark.”
They’re right. The WNBA absolutely misses Clark. Her return is soon, though she won’t be rushing back to the hardwood.

“I feel like I’ve made a lot of progress, and I feel good,” Clark said. “I’m not going to rush back if it’s not worth it. But after this weekend, I’ll be reevaluated and we’ll have a better idea of when I’m returning.”
The Fever superstar is going to be careful with her body as she’s got a lengthy career ahead of her, even if many fans want to see her and Reese go head-to-head again. Their next chance will be on July 27, over a month and a half from now.
