The Chicago Sky have greatly missed Angel Reese during her second season in the WNBA.
Reese has been working through an injury that’s kept her sidelined for a majority of the second half of the season, forcing head coach Tyler Marsh to make lineup changes.

The Sky star is widely considered one of the best forwards in the WNBA, despite being early into her career. She began the season on a strong note but has since been rehabbing.
During her rehab, Reese took some time away from basketball and focused on the Chicago community.
On Saturday, the Chicago Sky posted several photos of Angel Reese’s back-to-school event where the WNBA star gave away over 2,000 backpacks filled with school supplies.
“A true Angel,” posted the official social media account of the Chicago Sky. “Angel’s Back-to-School Bash at Intentional Sports was a success! she gave over 2000 backpacks filled with school supplies to the community, on Chicago’s West Side.”

Angel Reese has been one of the biggest stars in the WNBA ever since she entered the league. On and off the court, Reese has been one of the most popular athletes in basketball over the past several years.
Reese has millions of followers on social media and with the latest fundraiser it’s clear that the Chicago Sky star has chosen to make a positive impact with the attention she’s received.

Throughout her second season in the WNBA, Angel Reese has posted 14.2 points, 12.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game for the Chicago Sky.
