Clemson-Duke basketball game moved to new start time

A slight change has been made to the tipoff time for Saturday’s Top 25 matchup between the Clemson Tigers and Duke Blue Devils.

Clemson vs. Duke has been pushed back 30 minutes and will tip off at 6:30 p.m. ET at Littlejohn Coliseum, 30 minutes later than the game’s previously scheduled start time. The game can be seen on ESPN.

In a post to its official social media account Wednesday, Clemson basketball said that the tipoff had been moved back “due to a potential conflict with the end of the Lakers vs. Pacers game, which also airs on (ESPN).”

The Lakers acquired star Luka Doncic in a stunning trade from the Mavericks last Saturday. Doncic is expected to make his Lakers debut in Saturday’s game against the Pacers, which is scheduled for a 4 p.m. ET start.

Clemson (18-5 overall, 10-2 ACC) is ranked No. 21 in this week’s USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll. The Tigers fell 89-86 in a triple-overtime loss to Georgia Tech Tuesday night. Duke (19-2, 11-0) is ranked No. 2 and plays at Syracuse Wednesday night before its trip to Clemson.
