Clemson continues to strengthen its 2026 recruiting class with the addition of defensive tackle Kameron Cody, who announced his commitment to the Tigers on Saturday.
Cody is rated as a four-star prospect by On3’s Industry Rankings, highlighting his status as one of the nation’s top defensive line recruits. The 6-foot-2, 285-pounder chose Clemson over offers from LSU, Tennessee, Arizona State, and Georgia Tech. He picked up an offer from the Tigers in January and later made a visit for Clemson’s Elite Retreat earlier this month, where he got an in-depth look at the program.

His commitment brings Clemson’s 2026 class to 13 total verbal pledges, a group that currently ranks second in the country. Cody is also the first defensive lineman to join the class, helping address a key position of need for the Tigers.
With his size, strength, and potential, Cody is a major addition to Clemson’s defensive front. The Tigers have consistently developed top-tier defensive linemen, and Cody has the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of those who have come before him. His commitment is another big step as Clemson continues to build a highly ranked recruiting class.
