With the win, Minnesota goes to 9-0 on the young WNBA season. All WNBA teams are now involved in Commissioners Cup play. This victory goes toward the Lynx potentially getting back into the Cup final again this season.

Collier added 10 rebounds, four assists, and four steals in the contest. No other Lynx player scored in double figures in the game played at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas. Arike Ogunbowale led the Wings with 26 points and Maddy Siegrest added 15 for the 1-9 Wings, WNBA.com reported.

Minnesota Lynx jumped out to early lead, but had to battle Dallas Wings to the bitter end

Minnesota jumped out to a 24-14 first-quarter lead, but Dallas battled back to make it a tighter contest. The Lynx led 46-39 at halftime. When the third quarter opened up, Dallas knew that they needed to make up ground. They did, outscoring Minnesota 17-11 in that quarter.

Entering the fourth, the Wings were just down 57-56. Minnesota head coach Cheryl White must have lit a fuse under her team because they responded to the Wings’ threat with flying colors. The Lynx dominated the fourth quarter, finishing on a 24-9 run to end the game.

Dallas’ bench play was much stronger that Minnesota’s on Sunday night, winning that scoring battle 24-15. But the Lynx made the Wings pay as they scored 24 points off of Dallas turnovers.

Wings top draft pick Paige Bueckers did not play as she’s continuing to deal with a concussion.
