Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes lost another offensive lineman after the Black and Gold spring game on Saturday.
Jay Gardenhire came to Boulder as part of the 2025 class and will be looking elsewhere. The 6-foot-8, 350-pound three-star offensive tackle from West Bloomfield HS in Michigan will enter the transfer portal, according to a report from On3.
Gardenhire’s journey to football was unconventional, but he’s trying to navigate through his next stop. He was a high school teammate of Colorado defender Brandon Davis-Swain, who joined the Buffs in 2024.
