The Colorado Buffaloes lost another player to the transfer portal Wednesday afternoon after Courtney Anderson entered early today.
After three seasons in Boulder, Harrison Carrington entered the portal. The 6-foot-7 forward averaged three points and 1.3 rebounds on 59% shooting this season. His transfer comes before Colorado gears up to play in the first round of the College Basketball Crown against Villanova.
Carrington, a walk-on, redshirted his freshman year and earned a full scholarship in September 2024. He debuted for the Buffaloes in the 2023-2024 season, appearing in 14 games. His role expanded this season, as he appeared in 29 of Colorado’s 34 games.
His standout performance this season came on February 18, 2025, against No. 8 Iowa State, when he contributed 11 points off the bench.

CU is losing a bench contributor with high upside, as he still has two years of eligibility remaining. Carrington’s departure adds to potential roster changes for the Buffaloes and makes portal additions very likely
