Colorado reveals jersey numbers for 2026 transfer class

Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes brought in 40-plus transfers, replacing nearly an entire starting defense and several offensive starters.

Spring football began last week, but how many Colorado fans could not match a jersey number with a player? With the help of the recently released spring roster, we can start making those much-needed player-number correlations.

Remember, Sanders does not allow his players to wear No. 0, and the No. 1 jersey must be earned. Single-digit jersey numbers are reserved for players that the team deems are “the guy.” Currently, there are 14 players with single-digit jerseys, including eight of the 43 incoming transfers.
