The Indiana Fever are shorthanded again on Tuesday night against the defending champions New York Liberty as Caitlin Clark sat out for a second straight matchup due to a lingering groin injury.

This only means that the rest of the Fever will need to step it up against the Liberty with their best player watching from the sidelines. One of those players is Aliyah Boston, who has been pivotal for Indiana this season, especially whenever Clark is sidelined.
Boston struggled in the Fever’s last game, scoring just seven points on 1-of-8 shooting. It’s no coincidence that Indiana suffered a blowout loss in that one, as the Liberty dominated the matchup en route to a 98-77 victory.

Boston added another feather in her cap with her latest career milestone by making a bit of WNBA history. According to Polymarket Hoops on X, the 23-year-old is the third-youngest player in league history to record 1,500 career points.
