Electric bikes are a great option for commuters and no brand has embraced the e-bike experience as strongly as Cube, offering quality specs at very competitive prices.
The German bike brand has been selling electric bikes since 2011 and now has over 100 e-bike models in its e-bike range, from mountain bikes to gravel and cargo bikes. Cube Editor Hybrid

The Cube Editor Hybrid is a stylish electric bike with clean lines that will let you zip through city streets. It’s fully featured, with a smooth welded aluminium frame, a carbon fork and internal cable routing.
The 400Wh battery is fully enclosed in the down tube and the compact 55Nm Bosch SX motor is housed in the bottom bracket shell, augmenting the clean looks. The motor control panel is built into the Editor’s top tube and there’s a separate Mini Remote that you can mount where you like on your handlebars. It uses Bluetooth not just to control the motor assistance level, but also to select walk mode and even turn the lights on and off in FE models.
You can choose between the stripped down Editor Hybrid or the Editor Hybrid FE, which adds mudguards, lights, an integrated pannier rack and a kickstand. Cube offers models with Shimano hub gears and a maintenance-free Gates belt drive with 8 or 11 speeds, as well as Shimano Cues 10-speed derailleur gear options.
The Editor Hybrid is well priced for such a quality, stylish e-bike, with six bike specs available and priced from £2,299 to £3,099.
Cube Nulane Hybrid C:62

The Cube Nulane Hybrid is a rugged electric commuter. It’s based on a carbon e-gravel bike frame, but with flat bars instead of drop bars, so it’s better suited to the commute. There’s big tyre clearance, as with all gravel bikes, and a choice of two stripped down models or two FE models with mudguards, lights and a kickstand.
The Nulane Hybrid uses the same Bosch SX motor unit and internal 400Wh battery as the Editor Hybrid. As with the Editor Hybrid, the control unit for the Bosch motor is built into the top tube, with a handlebar Mini Remote. There’s a choice of Shimano Cues 9-speed cable-operated gears or SRAM Apex XPLR AXS wireless electronic 12-speed shifting.
Prices range from £2,699 to £3,699 for the four available specs.
Cube Touring Hybrid

If you’re looking for a more traditional style e-bike, take a look at the Cube Touring Hybrid range. It includes three spec levels each available with a step-through, mixte or top tube frame and in two colours.
All Touring Hybrid bikes have derailleur gearing, a Suntour suspension fork and disc brakes and are equipped with practical details: a rack, mudguards, lights and a kickstand. You can choose between 9-speed or 11-speed Shimano Cues gearing.
They’re powered by a 75Nm Bosch Performance Line Generation 3 motor with a high capacity 500Wh or 625Wh internal battery and sophisticated Bosch Kiox or Purion LED handlebar displays. The Kiox 300 mounts centrally in front of your handlebars, offers turn-by-turn navigation and can be used as a key to unlock your e-bike, while the smart format Purion mounts next to the handlebar grips, providing thumb control of the assist level.
Prices for the Cube Touring Hybrid range from £2,299 up to £2,699.
Cube Supreme Hybrid

Finally, the Cube Supreme Hybrid e-bike offers a step-through frame, lights, mudguards, a rack and a kickstand. Different specs are powered by a range of Bosch motors with integrated batteries, with a choice of hub or derailleur gears and chain or belt drive.
Hub gear options include Shimano stepped gears and Enviolo continuously variable gearing and there’s even a spec equipped with automatic Enviolo gearing and anti-lock brakes.
There are no less than 24 different spec and colour combinations available for the Supreme Hybrid at prices from £2,199 to £4,199.
Bosch power

Cube’s electric bikes have all been powered by Bosch motors since 2014. Bosch motors are reliable and powerful, with quality batteries and sophisticated control units that don’t just provide battery status, but in many models a complete range of navigation and other functions.
The latest Bosch motors pair with the Bosch eBike Flow phone app for over-the-air updates, ride tracking, tamper alerts and more.
